ARLANS WAS THE FIRST BJJ INSTRUCTOR IN THE UK, FOUNDING HIS FIRST CLASSES AS FAR BACK AS THE SUMMER OF 1996! SINCE THEN HAS BEEN THE DRIVING FORCE IN THE GROWTH OF JIU-JITSU IN ENGLAND. FOR OVER 20 YEARS HE HAS MAINTAINED A VERY HIGH STANDARD OF TEACHING RANGING FROM BEGINNERS TO ADVANCED COMPETITORS. ARLANS ALSO CHERISHES HIS OPPORTUNITIES TO PASS ON THE ART OF JIU-JITSU TO THE YOUNG WITH HIS YOUTH PROGRAM OF CLASSES.

GI

Gi Jiu Jitsu is grappling with the use of a traditional Gi. This allows you to grab the clothing of your opponent. You can also use your own Gi to trap and submit your opponent.

NO GI

No Gi is grappling without the traditional uniform. Instead, shorts and a rash guard is worn. In No Gi, you cannot grab your opponents clothing and is generally much faster paced than Gi Jiu Jitsu.
